Frequently asked questions
Answers about devices, quality, invitations and privacy.
Do I need to install an app?
To watch, open the invite in a compatible browser. Screen broadcasting depends on browser support. Android and iPhone can use an available camera, but capturing other apps is not supported by every mobile browser.
Is game audio shared?
It depends on the source and browser. Some tabs support sharing their audio; windows and full screens may have limitations. Enable Screen audio in settings and check the audio option in the browser picker. The microphone is controlled separately inside the room.
Why can quality decrease?
Resolution, motion, FPS, processing power and upload capacity affect the image. Automatic mode shares a total upload budget across viewers, and the connection may reduce quality to keep video running. A high manual bitrate cannot fix insufficient upload capacity.
Why does someone only see a black screen?
Capture permissions, blocked playback or a WebRTC connection failure may be responsible. If video never connects, restrictive networks may block the direct route between participants. Try Reconnect and another network. Technical diagnostics can help distinguish capture from connection problems.
Do pen marks stay on the screen?
No. The pen points things out briefly: each stroke disappears in about two seconds. The host can grant or revoke a viewer’s access.
Who can enter a room?
Anyone with the link and, when set, the password. There is no public room directory. Treat the invitation as private and end the stream when finished.
Can I change language during a stream?
Yes. Use the flag at the top right. The interface switches between Portuguese, English and Spanish without restarting the stream. Participant names and chat messages are not translated.
